The FAQ

Do you Travel?

Yes, I travel for photography sessions (ie. families, events, engagements, real estate, branding, products, and more.) ***Additional travel fees may apply. Please contact me for more information.

How long have you been doing this?

I started in photography class almost two decades ago while also doing photos for the year book. I spent years traveling and taking landscape and nature photographs. Recently, I have broadened my experiences to include families, celebrations, and more.

How many photos do we get?

Most photography packages include 15 to 20 digital images. ***Additional fees may be applied for extra images. Please contact me for more information.

How do we get our photos?

Clients can view, download, and have prints made from a website called Pixieset. I selected this site because it is very user friendly.

Do you retouch photos?

Light retouching included for photographs as needed (ie. retouching marks or blemishes on the skin.) ***Additional fees may apply for "heavy" retouching (ie. removing unwanted objects, making adjustments to natural elements in a photo, etc).

Whats your turn around time?

The typical timeline for a finished product is no longer than 14 days. Before a photo is sent, ample time is spent ensuring each photograph is hand selected and edited to exactly what the client desires.

How do we book you?

Clients can book a session with me through email, phone, or via Facebook. ***A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your requested date.

Can you help us with planning?

I am happy to help clients with location ideas, outfit choices, and poses. Additionally, if the client has ideas or suggestions, we can always work to incorporate them into the photoshoot, as well.

How far out do you book?

Most bookings are reserved 2 to 3 months before the requested date. If a client has a specific date, time of year, or location, bookings can be reserved further out.

What should we do for a session?

After booking your session, prepare to have a desired location in mind. (Think of a time of year or a holiday you really love or a location you like (ie. the beach or the forest). I will work with you to narrow down location and outfit selections if needed.

What should we wear?

When selecting the outfits for your session, it's always recommended to go with colors that correspond with the season. For example, yellows and browns for fall, black and darker colors (i.e dark greens and deep reds for Christmas.), pinks and lighter blues for spring, and of course bright colors for summer. I am always happy to help you narrow down your outfit selections to get the desired outcome of your photos.
